On the one hand, it's been so long since I've flown American that they've expired all my FF miles.
On the other hand, they still send me email updates.

Something about that ain't right.

I'm back - haven't caught up at all and not likely to.
I went skiing for the first time in about 15 years, and Ben went snowboarding for the first time. More stories and hopefully pics and vids to follow later.

Got a new endo - he's pretty cool so far. They took my A1C right there while I waited from a fingerprick (instead of sending me to the labs and having a blood draw and waiting like 2 weeks), and it came back 5.6. (Typical for non-diabetics is a 5.0; targets for diabetics are often either under 7.0 or under 6.5).

Sweet.

I think I'm running out of things to keep me entertained in this house.
If it weren't for playoff football, I might have to resort to going outside.

Happy Birthday, Maggie. We'll put a birthday party together soon, promise. Time to learn that Christmas birthdays are hard.

Yesterday, Ben, while waiting in my parking lot at work, announced that, "Parking lots are very car-y."
Sage words, young man.

Yesterday I had a stress test, which includes being hooked up to an EKG. They shaved a stripe across my chest to hook it up.

It itches like a sumbitch.

Instead of a gingerbread house, we made a GrahamCracker Shack.
It was delicious.
