lol, nothing like Harry Potter nerdiness to bring me back to my lj! I've been checking out some pics from interviews and getting excited. *sigh*, I still have yet to see the movie, but that's just because I don't want to go alone and one girl keeps putting it off. I haven't seen OotP yet either and for similar reasons. I think I'm just going to go this weekend, though, no matter what. I'm tired of not being able to read everyone's comments ( ... )

Yeah, the offers I got were the USDA. They just match your availability to their list and ask if you want to be considered for what they have. As new openings come, they will send me more. I've started doing all the job sites but have yet to hear back on those. lol, I even applied for lab tech jobs though I said I wouldn't.

Well, keep at it. Something will come up.

With my jobs, they've always been unexpected. I'll look and look and look and then, seemingly out of the blue, something will turn up. That happened with my last job - and that was an awesome job. And, in a way, it's kind of happened with this new job that I'm going to be interviewing for on monday. I mean, the bulk of my skill set is highly specialized at this point and there aren't too many companies in the entire world who do what I used to do - and I've turned down jobs at three of them already. So, for this company to just find me - rather than me actively contacting them - is kind of out of the blue.

It's cool that the USDA will keep contacting you about openings - I'm sure you'll get something you'll like.
