Yay! 10 years of SG-1!

This is it folks - today is The Day (at least if you live in the UK or watch episodes on their schedule.) Because Stargate brings the funny and fandom brings the joy, the squee, the omg srsly?, and the all around good feelings, here are some links, some new and some old, to help you celebrate a decade of fun with Stargate: SG-1.

10 years is something to be way proud of. But! There's no shelf life on fandom besides what we set ourselves, so don't be sad!

The All Stars and Lost City vids had me in convulsions they were so funny. (Also, I ganked the link from danvers, so you see, it all goes around and comes around!)

I also like Brihana's "Eight Years On".

And I'd highly rec Nibikko's Vogue video It's a celebration of prettiness for the first eight years (S9 wasn't on dvd yet, so poor Cam didn't make the cut, but P.U. Vala's got a couple of appearances). And it's not just teamy prettiness either. Ba'al, Osiris, Martouf, etc. :-)

That's the limit of my vid recs. I can only dl the rare occassions I'm near a wireless connection, and I haven't been since S9 made more possible.

Okay. I don't usually check out vids and I haven't really seen most of the dvd special features but..."Stuck in Antarctica with MacGyver" was THE BEST THING EVER OMG!

(I'm all sniffly about the show ending tonight and I'm still only just starting season 8)

The only bad thing about that clip is that RDA is looking away and we can't see his face. Worth it to watch Amanda let herself go at the end, though. HEE!
