I work at a childrens' theater. This can be either a lot more or lot less fun than it sounds, depending on the day or, in some cases, the ten minutes in which you ask me about it. Last night I had the very weird fandom deja-vu experience of recognizing a name from an older fandom that I used to be active in (before I was dragged - kicking and screaming, I tell you! - into SG-1. Man, I know there was a big kerfluffle in the SPN fandom that sounds like it was a lot like the big kerfluffles that used to go down in HP fandom, but seriously - I am in love with fandom in general right now. I expect this won't be news to anyone who has me on their flist, since you all seem to be very sociable, worldly people who know way more people in the fandom than I do, but just in case - crystal-lily's friending meme is pretty much a fabulous idea, and there are tons of people over there.
