CliqueClack: White Collar's Tim DeKay answered a question about a previous show he was in, Carnivàle. It was canceled after season two, when there were three "books" planned, and he tells at least part of what was planned to start the next season. If you watched the show, I recommend reading this, because it specifically gives away how someone ( Read more... )

I sure hope those are painted, and not tattooed! (although I'm not sure how it's really an appropriate condom ad, seeing as how nothing is actually covered by a condom...)

Ah. Well, in that regard, it works! :D

Impressive paintjob there. For the art alone I wouldn't mind seeing more. Seriously. The art. Really.... okay, the canvas isn't that bad either.

Thank you thank you thank you for providing the link to the Bollywood video. I think I love this tune and now regret not logging in to The Game tonight. I think Legend of Neil started up too. I'm trying to give up Twitter so I'm missing out on Link-age.

Don't know about Carnivàle but it sounds interesting. Maybe need to see if I can... acquire.

You are such an art appreciator. ;)

The Bollywood style cracked me up, especially with Vork's multiple arms.

I think you'd like Carnivàle, but just be prepared that there is no real ending and there is a sort of cliffhanger. The detail mentioned in the article at least answers on major question though. The show is Epic Good vs. Evil, with both avatars discovering their powers but not really understanding them and how they fit into an ongoing battle.

The 1930s setting is really different for a fantasy story, especially since it doesn't go with mobsters or speakeasys, but the life of traveling from town to town in a carnival (complete with a coochie show) during the Dust Bowl. They have some sequences during Black Storms, which must have been scary as hell.
