Back in mid-September, I mentioned I was having problems with facial numbness. It's mid-November, and I'm still having problems. It's not as extreme, but still disturbing.
It sounds like they don't know what's causing it. Hope they figure it out soon^^
A friend mentioned there's a new MRI type of machine where the sides are all open so are not claustrophobic. I don't think it's become mainstream yet though.
It's early days of diagnosis, and this is the first thing to narrow down where the problem is. At least I'm not in the same kind of agony the slipped disc in my lower back caused.
I've heard of open MRIs, but I've never seen one. Supposed to be helpful for claustrophobics and larger folk. I think the one I was in is called a "wide bore" MRI. About 10 cm or so wider, and not as deep, so you don't feel (as much) like you're in a coffin.
