EEE I love thiiiiiiiis! I love the backdrop of all the frustration and uncertainty and worry that came with breaking away with Earth; this could have just been fluffy fluff, but instead there's a nice undercurrent of depth. (How do I words this morning? You know what I mean.) So when Delenn shows up, it's not just "yay she's wet too yay," it's this nice thematic thing - when John gets in over his head, there she is to say the right thing, calm him down, and get him through it.

I have to say, the mental image of him wandering from room to room, the sprinklers coming on every time he does, getting more and more frustrated, until he finally just sits down and cries is something I can really relate to. Perfectly done.

Yay! And thanks. This one's a little bit more personal than most fic I write, but I think John's frustration is something lots of people can relate to in their own way.

And, um, I really, really enjoy the mental image of soaked!Sheridan with little water droplets hanging off his face. I may have giggled gleefully as I wrote about how wet he was. :D

Oh, John. Man, I have been there, and it's so nice to have someone to remind you that the storm will pass. This was lovely.

Thank you. I agree with you; it is nice to have someone to give you that reminder. However, that wasn't what I was going for here. Maybe I wasn't clear enough? What I wanted was not Delenn reminding him that things will get better, but rather that they should make the best of their situation the way it is, because they have no way of knowing when it will improve. Sometimes I think that's a more difficult lesson to lean.

Very sweet story. I could really feel John's frustration, and the slow release of said emotion as a deeper, more meaningful reality set it. Nicely done.

You got 'em both wet, yay! This was alternately sweet, and serious, and silly. Nicely done!

Yay! I'm glad you liked it. I think this is my new favorite mental image of them. Soaking wet and smooching. :D
