Haysi High School 2004 State Creative Writing Champions!!! We won the VHSL State Creative Writing Folder Championship! My short story WON! I was beyond excited when Mrs. Charles told me the great news! LeRae's essay on Appalachia got 2nd, and Amy Large WON in poetry. Larry called from C-ville and he is bringing home the trophy and the medals. Wow!
