I was rejected from GW. I am upset about facing this rejection. I hate rejection... it sucks in every way shape and form. This rejection is especially upsetting, because baber got into GW. It doesn't make sense to me. My GPA is higher, my SATs are higher, and we are equal in extra-curriculars. AND I DON'T HAVE BLC ON MY RECORD! (even though ( Read more... )

Hey that happened to me with Duke and Vanderbilt, and i was pretty pissed to, just keep your head up, i know exactly how u feel..

Hey liz! I know we haven't talked in forever, but I miss you! I totally understand your feelings about rejection, I got rejected from my top two schools also, one of which I have another friend basically equal with me who got in. College admissions are just sooo subjective (case and point: my debate partner last year got admitted to Harvard and Columbia and not Georgetown, like wtf?). I know it doesn't help that much because it still seems like you really should have gotten in to GW. I guess you just never know, and it sounds like Puget Sound is going to be an awesome school for you. They're even giving you lots of money!!! Try to cheer up some, good luck with the prom date, and know that I'm here if you need to talk. :)
