...Make what any less unsettling, Bill?

The fact that we were brought here and are being kept here by some unknown force. The zombies may be gone, but we're still here.

Well, just think. You could be stuck without each other.

[ she touches his wrist, lightly. ]

We could go swimmin'. At night, I mean. I've never been any place as nice as this, except that hotel in Dallas and that didn't have any beaches.

There is that, of which I am very grateful for.

[ bill smiles down at her, one of those private, softer looks that seem to only be reserved for her. ]

Let us hope that this place doesn't prove itself to be more of a blessing in disguise.

Exactly. I am feeling plenty unsettled.

[A strange blonde decides to burst in and comment on your little soliloquy, Bill. What do you do, what do you do?]

Mmhm. [She perfunctorily agrees, but adds:] Of course, the day I start feeling anything less than unsettled? That's the day I'll know something is way, way wrong. Uhm, wronger.

Wronger. While I don't believe that's an actual word, I see your point. Getting too settled doesn't bode well for any of us.

Eh, could be worse. We're not all bursting into song.

[Apparently today is the day for Bill to get spammed by blonds, even if this one's hair is not naturally this color.]

[ the southern vampire will raise a brow at that odd statement. ]

I beg your pardon? Song?

Oh, something that happened to a town I was in once. Musical demon. Very disturbing. Like being in a musical, only without an audience or getting paid. Also people were dancing to death. That doesn't usually happen in musicals. Or if it does, the actors are almost always fine.

Can't say I've ever experienced anything quite like that.

You should learn to adapt better, Bill.

Not all of us are as used to the changing of the times as you are, Eric.

It is and then it isn't. There's nothing wrong with holdin' on to your times.
