I really liked this. Hugo was an endearing combination of brave and adorable, and Scorpius felt quite realistic to me in his desperate desire to fit in and not be considered a freak. I'm glad Christian came around; I thought he might. :-)

Wow, this is amazing! I love your characterization of Scorpius - probably the best I've read in fandom. He's totally a Malfoy and Draco's son without actually being Draco or anything <3 I love that he's seeker and I love how he's not exactly in denial about his sexuality but he just can't imagine coming out; it scares him too much. Hugo is absolutely adorable and I love how their relationship evolves. Also - Chris! What a wonderful OC <3 I'm so glad he comes through in the end :) Oh, and the last line XD What a lovely way to end the whole thing. Thank you for writing this!

Thank you for your lovely comment! I tried to make Scorpius both realistically hesitant about coming out while still meeting the prompt's description of a 'Prince of Slytherin'. I wasn't so sure I'd nailed the Prince bit, but I was happy with the character in the end, and I'm so happy that you liked him as well!

I'd never even considered Hugo/Scorpius before this prompt, haha! But icy blonde and adorable redhead appealed to me. I suppose Scor turned out much less icy than originally intended, but I think I like it that way.

squeee omg long Hugo/Scorpius fic! ♥ I adored everything about this, but maybe most this line: "No, I cannot imagine. I do not care to imagine. I would really appreciate it if none of you imagined, either." because bwahaha :D Oh, Scorpius. ♥ I'm glad Scorpius came around eventually and I love that Hugo was stubborn enough to keep trying. Also, Chris? He really IS the best friend, isn't he - sticking up for them both at the end, despite the little break of trust there. Your characterisations are spot on (Hugo in Hufflepuff - of course!) and I had to LOL at the Weasley genetic material floating around the castle. XD So true. xD

I thought I was oh-so-clever when I wrote that line, so I'm very glad that you liked it! I also felt it was high time that somebody pointed out that the Weasleys are pretty much taking over the world. Or, at least, Hogwarts.

I do like it! XD and they really, really are. I wrote a H/D fic almost a year ago in which they're like...old. and at some point I wanted to put a reference in to all the Weasleys and I had to actually make a calculation of how many there would be at that point and so I ended up with "all fifty-seven", which is truly a scary number...

I like him. even if he's a bit of a bastard at a point. it makes him more real, you know? especially given the reason why he was upset with scorpius.

oh, still no icon. dammit. it's so hard to find people to base icons off for those two >.
