I jumped last week finally. It was fun.

I worked another 11 hour day and tomorrow will probably be even longer. my exciting life. I'm totally buying a new toy for my laptop with all the ot money from this week. I think I'll end up with about 10 hours OT. woot. woot.

No skydiving. grrrrr. with any luck Wed will be nice and i can get out of wok early. Some good news though. I got a call today from my ste-dad. They found a box of more car stereo stuff. yah, so in the spirt of being motivated, i wrote a perl script to re-encode all my stuff into 64 kbps sample for my streaming server. i was going to run the scipt agains my entire collection at once, but fuck the encoding just ramps the CPU up to %100 for the whole duration. I fugure it's about 2 songs per minute, 12,000 songs..... fuck that's 6, ( Read more... )
