Wow. That's my hometown. And I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it. My mom used to work for the government in that town, and it is most definitely a good ol' boys network in action. I can't begin to imagine how hard that was for him to do. Even more astounding is the reaction he got afterward. I hope so much that the standing ovation was sincere. I'm sad that I have my doubts. That is one brave, brave man. And I am in tears after listening to him speak.
