Find (affordable) heating pads?

I never bought one of these before and I'm trying to get one for tonight. An online google came up with prices from $10-$25. These don't have to be fancy (auto-shut off etc. optional), as long as they have some heat. Being easy to clean/maintain is a plus, though ( Read more... )

i think mine was around $20...the cover comes off you can throw it in with the wash...and the auto is great to go to sleep with!! :)

Walgreens, rite aid I believe duane reed...def the other two..

Drugstores usually stock them. K-mart on Astor should, too, possibly for a little cheaper. Sorry I don't know about prices.

If you want to go the supercheap homemade method, just get a decent-sized sock and fill it up with rice. A few minutes in your microwave and it's a great heating pad.

I got mine at either Walgreens or Duane Reade a couple years ago for about $20. It has a removable cover. I think the package said it can be used damp or dry (the cover, I mean) but I've only ever used it dry.
