245, on East 73rd Street is the fictional address, but the filming location was in the village, as indicated above.

On another show, they said it was 73rd Street between Madison and Park, but 245 is way East of that. Guess they're trying to not have people stalking outside a real address.

yeah, i live here, i dont need to pay $40 for a bus to take me around. I've been googling it but it seems as if the places the tour goes are kind of on lock down...maybe so everyone wont try and do it themselves.
