If you're going to ask for help in the newyorkers community, you probably shouldn't put the Giants down.

Well.. it was more a joke than anything else. I do hope they win so the Patriots actually lose a game... but I'd rather put them down and be surprised than build them up for something greater than they are and risk disappointment.

Not like you're looking for an explanation, but whatev...

Go Giants! wooo hooo

I'm too lazy to google it to know for sure, but on Sunday nights at The Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre, there's usually a really awesome (free!) comedy show called AssCat. And it usually has a bunch of big-name comedians. Last time I was there, Amy Poehler, Horatio Sanz, Seth Myers, and that kid Kenneth from 30 Rock were there, among others. I don't know if they're doing it this Sunday or not, but it's worth a look.

oh man, I bet this would be a great week to go to that...much shorter lines, if they're doing it. But it probably wouldn't work for the OP because you need to get on line early if there is one...so to travel all the way out there and not even get in would be annoying. they give out tickets sometime around 8:30 or 9 as far as I recall. I usually go to the early (not free) show with reservations.

I saw Amy Poehler and Rachel Dratch once, and there are tons of really good improvisers every time I go. it's one of my favorite tips for things to do in NYC. :)

Just a heads up: if you plan on going to Serendipity, plan on waiting about 2 hours to be seated.
