Tipping for delivery

Those of you who use FreshDirect, how much if anything do you tip the delivery person(s)? I usually get about three not-very-full boxes and I live in a second-floor walk-up.

etiquette, shopping, food, services, prices

I used to tip $20, and boy were they accomodating. Then I realized my income really couldn't sustain that indefinitely, especially when I had more energy to cook and was getting a delivery every 3 weeks or so.

From the reactions I got I eventually determined that's a bit more than typical anyway.
