i've got a question for you since I am similar in starting weight - what is your activity level and food plan calorie-wise? I dont know if I am coming or going with mine and after 38 days I have a net 7 pound weight loss. I don't know whether to increase activity or decrease, actually, and I am looking for comparisons.
I have a pretty physically demanding job at a farm nursery. Some days, I spend 8 hours lugging around pots of plants. I haven't really been exercising all that much. The other day I did a half hour of DDR, and sometimes I go for 45 minute bike rides.
For breakfast, I usually have two scrambled eggs with some sort of fruit. Lunch is nuts and more fruit, and carrot sticks sometimes. Dinner is whatever my parents already have cooked. On occassion I cook, too.
38 days and 7 pounds? That's pretty amazing. Keep up the good work!
Don't start comparing yourself to everyone. Honestly, 7 lbs in 38 days is a good healthy amount. If you are going for permanent losses, 1-2lbs a week is the general rule. You are doing great. Depends on how you want to go. I'm shooting for slower, permanent losses, so I've lost about 30 in 6 months...but it's never coming back because I've changed my lifestyle. Just do some research, pick something, and be consistent. It sounds like what you are doing is working good. Just saying. If you reach a plateau, then worry about modifying.
