Miami beat NCSU 45-31 tonight.  Brock Berlin threw five TD passes, tying a school record -- Bernie Kosar, Steve Walsh, and Ken Dorsey were the others to do so.  The way Brock had been playing, I didn't think we'd be mentioning him in the company of those QBs anytime soon.  But I guess this is a good thing...

So what game's gonna end first tonight, Red Sox-Yankees, Astros-Cardinals, or Rams-Bucs?

Rams-Bucs is a definite possibility... ha.

That game was wayyy too close for comfort tonight.  But at least we won.  Unfortunately, I think it's the last game I'll be able to watch with the club until the bowl game, since the rest are on Saturdays and I'll be working.

Wow... what a game. I'm going to call it The Choke and Soak at Doak. Ha. It poured the whole day. We got there around 9:30, and tailgated in the civic center parking lot. I've been home for about an hour, and I think I'm finally returning to normal. The game got off to such an amazing start, with Devin Hester's kickoff return for a TD. When the first quarter ended with the score 10-10, I wasn't too worried. As we started to fall more and more behind, it made me more edgy. UM is definitely capable of pulling it ( Read more... )
