By the way, is this the first news post which doesn't even pretend to have any actual news? I know it's been lacking in news content for a while, but this has literally nothing.

Every time they include actual news, the comments complain about recent LJ asshattery. Perhaps they're trying techniques to stop that happening.

My very first bike was ran over by my neighbours' van because I parked it in front of their drive way. )':

I didn't have my first bike until I was 10. And... I didn't get training wheels, either, because my Uncle fails with tools/putting things together and couldn't get them onto the bike. But we lived out in the middle of nowhere near a mountain, so there weren't, like, cars that I could get hit by, at least, and I had long dirt roads to learn how to ride on. The bike was pink and had sparkles and tassels on it.
