No clue what happened to it. My girlfriend and I liked it when we saw it though. Figured the city just got it for some reason. That or that jack-hole who goes around the quarter ripping flyers off the poles and such.

I think his deal is that he doesn't like free advertising. But this wasn't advertising anything...it was like the equivalent of leaving those big floral arrangements on the side of the road after someone dies in a car wreck.

Actually, his thing is eradicating "graffiti." His definition of graffiti is slightly askew, so anything is possible as far as he is concerned.

Awww! :-( I loved that thing. I don't understand why people feel the need to destroy something so simple and harmless. Lame. I used to put pennies in it. It just felt right.

I know! Recently...like maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago, some stupid motherfucker tagged the front of it. I bought paint thinner and went to scrub the tag off a few days later, but someone had already done it for me :)

And then a few weeks later, the whole thing was gone :(

I dunno, we don't even know if it was the flier-guy who took it down. I'm not so much angry as much as disappointed and confused.
