Martel's not far behind her; he stops at his study first to file away what he'd been working on (tentative mapping out of where he'll put certain outbuildings) and to double-check that he has everything he needs there for-
No, he's not supposed to be doing that tonight. He sets a book down, half-guiltily, and meets her in the sitting room.

She greets him with a small smile. "Hey. I hope you like this, I wasn't sure--"
Well, who knows, but she does think she has some idea as to his tastes by now. In between the constant physical exploration, Candice has learned a thing or two about Martel, after all.

Martel's not half as mysterious as he thinks he is if you're given the opportunity to observe him at rest (or his equivalent thereof). That is always a factor.
He offers a brief smile, joining her. "It'll be fine."
