So, Wonderland royalty. I was re-watching parts of Alice last night, and came across the last scene between the Queen and King of Hearts - you know the one, where the Queen is all, "Zomg we gotta go" and the King is all "uh yeah no, not so much." And it got me thinking about how succession and government and all that kind of stuff works in

Okay, I propose this to you: in the other comments, we've discussed the "Chess" kingdoms, like the Red King and Queen and White King and Queen and then the "Suits" kingdoms, like King and Queen of Hearts, Spades, Clubs, and Diamonds. These are from Carrol's canon.
In Alice, Charlie makes a comment that they lived in peace for a thousand years (of course, I can't exactly remember who "they" is, so I might be reaching here.) What if in Alice, we had all the aforementioned kingdoms, except the Suit Kingdoms were always warring amongst themselves (until the Queen of Hearts finally conquered all) but the Chess Kingdoms lived in perfect harmony? Either they were awesome allies or they joined to be one kingdom? Maybe? Am I stretching?
Otherwise, we can just throw this in the bin with the math logic that allows 10 + 10 to = 23?
