What Is Your Limitbreak?

Jul 24, 2006 15:46

Today I am in a very imaginative mood, which is why I decided to post a different kind of entry for today. I was just playing Final Fantasy 7 again and I was thinking to myself "who comes up with the names for some of these limitbreaks?" Aren't these names so cool? For example, Cloud's "Finishing Touch and Bladebeam” are such awesome names for ( Read more... )

final fantasy7, squall, ff8, weapons, seifer, limitbreaks, what if, ff7, imagination, final fantasy 8, your limitbreaks, ffvii, ffviii

XD This is a neat idea, and I like your names. They're spiffy.

Hmm, weapons. . . I've always been fond of Iron Fans. Like your typical folding fans, only made of blades rather than paper.

As for limit break names. . . hmm. Something to the effect of "Celestial Fury" or so.

I remember a long time ago, I had actually created my own FF character and had made up a series of limit breaks for her, but I don't remember all the names. That might be one of them. ^^;

I’m glad you like this entry. At first, I thought it was going to be lame, lol. It's also good to hear that you like my names. If only limit breaks were real, lol.

Hey that's a very cool weapon you have in mind. I think Katana from Mortal Kombat used them as her weapons, so I have an idea of how deadly those Iron Fans can be.

Now THAT'S a cool limit break name, lol. It sounds very convincing, and creative indeed. :D

Let's see.... Well, here is the traditional FF version -

Weapon - Whip (Like Rydia! =D)

Limit Break - Tsunami Sunder (Think something Levithan style >3)

But, in the real world of meatspace....

Weapon - Usuaully sense of humor/wit, but occasionally a heavy book or a broom.

Limit Break - Submininal Perversion (Making people think wrong/dirty thoughts without saying anything perverted myself)

Whips are pretty deadly, especially those with thorns.

Lol, if Final Fantasy were real...I'd love to have you on my team, along with everybody else, lol. Nice limit break name. I knew I wasn't the only fan with creative attack names. :)

LOL! I can relate to the broom as a weapon. :P

Woah! That is a very gifted yet rare ability you've got there. I envy you, lol. :P

Ooo ooo.

I've always wanted a giant pair of scissors as my weapon. To cut you with.
Limit Break: Diamond Cutter.
Because scissors that could cut through rock would be fierce, indeed.

A giant pair of scissors would be...unique. That would be cool to have a giant pair of scissors strapped to your back when you aren't in battle. And the name "Diamond Cutter" sounds very deadly. Good name. :)

Those names... certainly someone on the translation team. I have read that Omnislash's original japanese name means "Super Ultimate War God Champion Slash.". "Omnislash" is shorter.

As for my limit break... I don't know, maybe Blue Magic, like Quistis has.

That's like one of Zell's moves. If you just keep using Booya and, that other one:
O X and X O. Over and over, it'll do a tonne of damage. Anyway, it's name is the "Ultimate War God Breaking Fist"

Wow, I had no idea that was the translation for "Omnislah." It does make sense though. I'll have to look up the other translations sometime.

Blue Magic is quite awesome. I just love to use "Shockwave Pulsar" on my enemies...very deadly move. Oh and "White Wind" was very helpful as well. :D
