Today I am in a very imaginative mood, which is why I decided to post a different kind of entry for today. I was just playing Final Fantasy 7 again and I was thinking to myself "who comes up with the names for some of these limitbreaks?" Aren't these names so cool? For example, Cloud's "Finishing Touch and Bladebeam” are such awesome names for

Victims are seized by a violent brainfart that drives from their mind any coherent train of thought, so that they cannot remember what they were thinking, doing, or about to do. They have totally forgotten where they left their keys, weapons, and plans for taking over the world, and may well not remember their own names or the names of anyone else. This state of befuddlement may last for hours, and much that is forgotten may never be recovered.
The problem with this limit break is that the author tends to exhibit lesser forms of the same symptoms, much like the patchy amnesia caused by use of GFs in FF8.

Oh no...I would be afraid if that move was real! It sounds very scary. I tend to suffer from a lesser form of this attack as well. I'm always leaving things behind at work. To bad there isn't any kind of potion to take for a cure. :P

In the FF-universe--
Weapon: hmm . . . I'm torn between three different weapons. Either a large shuriken (ie Yuffie's starter), throwing knives (WHEE!) or a Sai (you know, TMNT? The three-bladed knife thing that Raphael uses? Yup. Those!)
And for my Limit Break: For the Shuriken, I'd do something cool and Ninja-y, and it would be called "Kurokaze" (Black Wind. Casts darkness, sleep, silence, poison and zombie. Yay for stat effects!); for the throwing knives, I'd do "10,000 Blades" (HP break on the enemy) or for the Sai, it'd be "Blood Rain" or some other dumb name (lots of really fast attacked; Kiros from FF8's "Blood Pain")
And in the really world--
Weapon: A pen.
Limit Break: Slash Attack! In which I would devastate all attacks against my writing/pairings and get the stupid fanbrat to understand my side of the argument! *nodnod!*

That was surprisingly fun . . .

One thing is for sure...you have a great taste in weapons. You would make a pretty cool partner in the Final Fantasy world. :)
Sweet! Status effect attacks are the best, especially ones that cause your opponent’s speed to be reduced. The "10,000" blades remind of the cactuar, so I have a pretty good idea of how deadly your limit break would be. I use to hate that attack when it was used against me in Final Fantasy 8, darn those cactuar. :P "Blood Rain" is very deep. That could even pass for a title of a great book or fighting game. :D
The idea of a pen being used as a weapon is very different. Despite that, it’s still pretty neat.
I'm glad you had fun. I had fun replying. ;)

In the real world - eh. *thinks* A pen-and-notebook. Both good quality, hee. Limit break..."Deus Ex Machina", if it hasn't been used yet. Something that'll get me out of any sticky situation ftw! ^_^

Hey nice limit break name sounds very creative. I've been with a pen and notebook for the past few days, which is why I haven't been on for the past few days. But I'll give the community an update tonight. :D
Thanks for sharing. :)

I've used it, and most people around me know it too. It's not catchy or flashy, but it DOES work xDDD
