Fai had left his own apartment once he and Kurogane had agreed to meet. There wasn't much for him to there in the first place and Kurogane had said that he had wanted him there then. It couldn't hurt to take that literally. Of course, he never thought that "now" actually meant "sometime that day".
He had taken sometime to clean himself up before living though. It wasn't much though. All he really did was brush out his hair and pull it back again. He still didn't have many clothes so he wasn't as worried about his appearance as he normally would be.
Once he arrived at Kurogane's flat, Fai felt inexpictly nervous. He didn't know why. It wasn't like he and Kurogane hadn't spent time alone before. Something about this whole thing seemed more intimate. Maybe it was because of their bond as predator and prey.
After taking a deep breath he raised his hand to knock on the door, not wanting to interrupt Kurogane if he was still in the middle of his work. No sense in getting him all worked up at the moment.
Kurogane looked down at her with a slight smile, something that was probably barely even noticeable if one did not know Kurogane, before turning back to Fai. Personally, he didn't care if Sakura saw or if she didn't, she was a strong girl and Kurogane thought the princess could take it, even if it might horrify her at first. Though, it was more up to Fai whether it happened or not. So he remained silent and waited for Fai's answer to Sakura's question.
"Not at all, Sakura-chan." Fai said, looking pointedly at Kurogane. Why was he waiting for him to answer? It was his apartment. It was somewhat a bad time for her to come it, but he and Kurogane could always deal with their problems later on. He could also wait to eat a little long. It hadn't been all that long ago since the last time that he had fed.
Sakura was still unsure, but she took Fai's answer with good grace. If Fai said it was okay, then it was okay for her to be here - the only time she'd act against anything he said was when he wasn't caring for himself at all, and of that, she couldn't be sure. She knew little of the vampire insticts that befell onto Fai, only knowing that Kurogane was his 'bait'... and that was all, really.
Deciding she'd stood in the doorway for long enough, she made her way inside. Her eyes widened as she saw the entirely refurbished appartment - it was... nice, for lack of a better word. "Did y-you... decorate, Kurogane-san?" she asked, looking back to him, a wider smile on her face. "It's nice. You've d-done a good job."
Kurogane met Fai's eye for a moment before watching Sakura move about. He looked surprised when she addressed him. "Yeah." He said, sounding slightly sheepish. He never was good with complements from the princess, though he did appreciate them.
Fai sat back down, smiling softly at Sakura and Kurogane. It was nice see Kurogane interact with someone that wasn't Fai and he was glad to just sit back while they caught up. He looked away from Kurogane though, knowing that he was going to have to finish what they had started later once Sakura left. There was no way now for them to just drop it.
She nodded in response, brushing her bangs out her eyes with one movement. "It's well-done... concidering that without Moko-chan, none of us can go to the next world," she mused. Not that, really, Sakura fancied going to the next world right now. She was far too attatched to this one for... staying with Axel and Roxas for so long. Being without them would hurt. Even if the day come when they would have to part. She didn't want to leave them behind. She'd tried finding her feather once, and that probably wouldn't be possible without Mokona arriving. "A-Are you both settling in, now?" she said. They'd been there for a month or two now, so hopefully they were starting to grow accustomed to New Sanctum.
Kurogane motioned for her to come sit with the both of them as he thought about her question. Considering Fai was just barely beginning to forgive him and he had started a job that he basically was the boss for (and he had hired a midget to help him) he would say he had settled in fairly well. He had even taken care of Fai along with himself when it came to getting an apartment.
"Yeah." He answered after his moment of silence, sitting back down next to Fai. "What about you? How have you been?" Kurogane idly wondered if the two of them should keep in better contact with one another because he wanted to be able to know if she needed protection on the dime!
"Yes, I have been." Fai said, smiling warmly at her. He shifted away from Kurogane a bit. Just enough so that he was tempted to feed right there and then. "How have things been for you Sakura-chan? Have you heard anything about Syaoran-kun or Mokona?"
"I've been okay. There's been so much... so much going on lately," Sakura replied thoughtfully with a smile, finding an empty seat and sitting opposite Kurogane and Fai. She shook her head slightly as she was asked about Syaoran or Mokona. She'd heard nothing... about either of them. "No," she said, her voice dropping slightly before fading out of existance. She really wished she knew for certain where he was.
Fortunately, she seemed to remember something, and her face perked up a little. "Oh! I near forgot... I m-made you both something..."
If one knew Kurogane well enough, that could tell that he was concerned. If only slightly. He had trained the kid so he knew he could fend for himself. What he was really concerned about, was how Sakura was faring without him around. "Hm?"
Fai was a little worried to hear that Syaoran had yet to be found. After all, he was special to Sakura even though he brought memories to mind that Fai would rather forget. Although, he decided to go the less painful route and change the subject. "Oh? You did?" He asked, sounding surprised.
She nodded to them both, perhaps slightly grateful for the change of subject. In ways, she really couldn't talk about Syaoran that easily without it hurting. before she unshouldered the bag she had been carrying with her, opening it wide and rummaging around inside. "Yes, I-I.. I made them for Christmas, since I-I liked the idea..." she trailed off, before she withdrew what she had been looking for.
Two plushies, made by Sakura herself. Both faring to be very similar to who they portrayed - the colour, the facial expression, the outfits. Two plushies, with one that held resemblance to Kurogane, and one that held resemblance to Fai. "See?" she smiled softly.
Kurogane... really didn't know ho to act in this situation except stare at the plushie like it was something he had never seen before. Of course, he took it to be polite, but that wasn't saying he didn't like it of course. It was more like he was at a loss of words... and everything else for that matter. "Eh..."
"These are wonderful." Fai said, taking one of the plushes from her. "It must have taken you a while to make, Sakura-chan. I feel bad for not getting anything for you." He smiled at her though, "I'll make it up to you though."
Sakura's face flushed slightly at the praise she recieved. "It didn't take that long..." she lied. She'd spent the weeks coming up to Christmas hiding in her room, which had caused Axel and Roxas no ends of concern until they'd found out just what she had been doing on the morning of Christmas. "... I just had to make something, even if it was small, since... s-since it's all I can do," she said, nodding, before standing up and walking the distance across to Kurogane, offering him the plushie she was still holding. "Here, Kurogane-san. For you."
