So, yesterday I was driving the medic back from Hopkins downtown after a call. Non-emergency. We were sitting at a stop light. So, my mother calls me today out of the blue and asks me what the shift pattern is on a motorcycle. Apparently, she's thinking about buying one, but it's been 20 years since she's ridden. Ha! So, on Mom's advice, I signed up for a motorcycle safety class. It was a 17 hour class. 6 hours of classroom and 11 hours of course riding. The bad part was that it cost me $250. The good part was that successfully completing it got me a waiver which meant I got my class M endorsement on my license without having to take the MVA's driving test ( Read more... )
