1. I do this thing where I use unwashed hair as a motivator for working out. I will save washing my hair until after I work out, b/c showering a night and washing the next morning is WASTEFUL. Thus I ensure I will work out so I can wash my hair.
2. I doubt my comittment to writing. I have to make myself do it, and I don't do it often enough. Yet it'

I kind of worry about it too. For me it's like mental vomit, it feels bad to get it out (well this is where the metaphor starts to break down, because after a while I get into the story and feel like woah don't pull me back to Earth), but when it's done, it's awesome to have a story (except it's not awesome to have puke) and you feel good having gotten that out.
Don't worry about not going to prom. Every single person I know, with the exception of three, either had a horrible time or ruined someone else's night.

And yeah, the thing is, I'm hardly ever happy with my stories. It's just hard for mt to get started writing too. I love coming up with ideas.

People like to say that high school is the best years of your life, but I don't really agree, given how lousy my experience was. There's a *reason* I haven't been to any class reunions or stayed in touch with people I knew back then...

6) Man, high school is what it is. Don't worry about how your experience compares to that of others. I went with a bunch of friends instead of a date, and it was okay. One of the most memorable moments of the night involved laughing over accidental farting, so go figure.
5) I've gone through phases where I wear make-up regularly and where I don't. When I was working full-time in 2008, I never wore make-up to work. So when I did wear it, it became kind of a fun thing for me.
For some people, going crazy with make-up or fashion can be a creative outlet too. If I'm honest, part of why I wear make-up is to cover up (what I perceive to be) imperfections that I'd rather not reveal to the world. If I had better skin, I'd probably just save make-up for when I want to dress up or whatever.
Like Bluefall says above, do whatever feels right for you and what makes you feel best.

4. Because making fun of bad fanfiction appeals to your inner grammar-and-continuity nazi? ;D
5. I wonder that sometimes too, and then remember that I hate the feeling of the stuff on my face anyways. I'd take Bluefall's advice for that, it sounds pretty solid.
