I edited my letter to be better! That rhymes. I'm pasting it here, so I can retrieve it at home. (I am at school. Digital Media so I can get to my LJ...bad me, not doing work. Never mind there's nothing to do.) Decided to put the Jann Jones bit in a separate letter ( Read more... )

I liked the fact that you included the Jann Jones bit in the second letter--it seemed too tangential to be in the main letter, but it also didn't seem like something that should be left on the cutting room floor.

My only concern with the letter is the use of the word "reviled", when used in reference to Adam Beechen. Even if it's true, it's a strong word with very negative connotations. I think it might be worth it to revise that sentence, maybe simply note that Batgirl fans don't have much goodwill towards him in regards to the character? Something along those lines. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for adding the new vids to the wiki. My efforts seem more real when they are recognized by others - I know I should just be proud of doing something for a character I admire - but dang, being added to the biggest Spoiler database ever created makes me feel like my waves are having an impact. Don't get me wrong, I know I have a long way to go before my work is up to AWSOME levels. I'm that person in the theatre ragging on the acting, sfx, cgi, stunts, dialogue, story. My friends have a rule, I'm not allowed to talk. So these first videos are the tests that will work me up to my big Spoiler plan (insert diabolical laughter here ( ... )

I really like how you added a note to Jann Jones. Seems pretty sweet :)

But I agree with Shanealt, perhaps a better choice of words would be "isn't popular" or "isn't trusted". Also, I'm not sure if it makes sense, but you could add in some facts about how any issue of her solo series outsold the majority of Beechen's mini (#3, 4, 5 and 6), showing that Cass definitely can and should be a character who sells well.
