What a world, where Kara is written well and Cass isn't.

Before I get into reviews, I should note that I am very happy to find the Stephanie Brown Database linked on Steph's actual wikipedia article.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephanie_Brown_(comics) And I didn't even do it! Some other person did! I feel important.

I don't know if Kara's ever really met the Kents, other than an introductory "Oh, hey, you guys raised Kal? Neat. I'm his cousin. From space!" So I don't think Jonathan Kent's death would really have an impact on her. She'd be there for Clark, but it probably wouldn't be a huge deal for you...like if someone you'd met once or twice died, you'd be really sad for whoever knew them, but it's hard to get that emotional over someone you've barely met.

Matrix was the one that was really close to them, and by extension Linda as well. Superboy too, during his Teen Titans days, but other than that not so much.

No, I don't, which is my point. I'm all for the flashback idea. We should have Gail Simone or Kelley Puckett or someone write it, and THEN they can defeat the alien menace in the Spoiler costume!

Oh, other stuff happened too but it was boring and Cass is better written here than by Beechen, but that isn't saying much. At all.

To save everyone time, instead of reading Batgirl #5, this summarizes it as far as I'm concerned.

But word on the no acknowledgement/reunion of Steph and Cass. They need their own series, dammit. Written by someone who is not Beechen or Tieri.

sekrit batgirl is sekrit.

Did you hear about how Linda's allegedly appearing in Reign in Hell? We haven't seen her since issue #2 for a whole 2 panels, but it was her! With flame powers. And still part angel.

ha! knew it was the general and everyone kept saying, nooo, anarky! (okay so he's in charge of it. Cools, who cares, Jason Todd next month! YAY!)

Yeah, BATO was kinda disappointing. :( But better issue than the last three. 9_9 (up until the end where Batgirl starts talking more sentences than she has in her whole series...and offers Vigilante a job instead of kicking him out of Gotham...) Oy...and yes, Dick living up to his namesake. Not looking forward to next month's issue.

I liked Terra, even with all the cheesecake. It wasn't exploitive. She had a pretty healthy looking body at any rate, so i dig. I'm looking forward to issue three actually.
