Joker getting into Steph's head was... disturbing. (But in a good way. Very effective writing.) He shouldn't know all those things that he uses to trigger her PTSD flashback, but somehow he does... not sure if Time Lapse gave him her complete biography or if his insanity somehow lets him absorb the information from the time shifts. And of course Steph responds to being hurt by going on the offensive, because that's who she is. The comics have dodged the issue of trauma from what Steph went through, so it's gratifying to see a story tackling it.
I also really wish that we could get to have these sorts of moments of friendship and affection between Cass and Steph in the comics. DC seems determined not to allow it these last few years.
Now I'm going to be thinking about how awesome it would be to see Cass fight dinosaurs. :-)

And yeah, it was a combination of information from Lapse and the time shifts- a couple times in DC it seems like the Joker's insanity allows him to remember crossovers that have been wiped from everyone's memory/Pre Crisis shit, so I just went with that- but he's not alone in remembering stuff, both Babs and Cass got flashes from their future.
Yeah, more Cass and Steph is needed stat. That's really why I started writing this, actually. Anyway, glad you enjoyed!
