Red Robin #15
Whhhhy is Marcus To's art so pretty? I want to snuggle every character he draws. And why did no one tell me that Steph was in this issue? People, I need to know these things for the wiki.
So apparently in three weeks, Tim is going to glare at Captain Boomerang dramatically while in jail wearing a red shirt and yellow tie (just so he can

LOL, I know, I was thinking about the fact that since starting, Red Robin has made references to Tim actually being attracted to people. It seems like in the past he's always been less...focused. He's almost always had a girlfriend and been really emotionally serious about those relationships, so it's a change to see him actually single and crushing on Tam and Steph and not overthinking or analyzing those feelings/relationships too much.
Okay, and Tim staging that shooting and having to pretend he's recovering from that injury for a year? All I could think was: I really hope he gave Babs a heads-up about that, at the very least. (From the description, it sounded like the bullet wound was similar to Barbara's, and if Fabian Nicieza would only remember Tim and Babs' totally awesome friendship, he'd know that Babs would be freaking out if she thought Tim was actually hurt like that.)

Hahaha, yes! Aw, I miss Oracle's hideout being like a second headquarters for the bats.

Uh, well... I mean, that's clear because... I got nothing.
The shortest connection I can make between Steph and anyone from the Middle East is that Steph knows Cass and Cass briefly teamed with Tigris at the end of her series. But if she went through Cass that would be kind of awkward....
Steph: "Hey, Cass? Do you know anybody in the Middle East?"
Cass: "Yes. I do know one."
Steph: "Can you find out if they can get me in touch with an assassin called Scarab?"
Cass: "Um... why?"
Steph: "Well, I need her to, uh... make Tim's life miserable."
Cass: "Oh! Then... yes. Yes I can."
Maybe Steph got up to waaaaay more interesting stuff during the time she was supposedly dead than we were led to believe? And didn't stay confined to sub-Saharan Africa?
(Happy birthday, BTW.)
