[The Master rarely sleeps. As an old acquaintance of his said once, "Sleep is for tortoises." And that's at least one thing he's said that the Master can agree with. Why sleep when there are so many more, interesting options for what he could be doing?
Of course, given long enough, he does need sleep, but that's not what's happening tonight. Tonight, he is sleeping for the sheer pleasure of sleep. And since it is by choice, why shouldn't his dream be as lucid as he likes?
Therefore, he dreams of a TARDIS, his TARDIS, modern and stylish, similar to the Valiant in its strong lines and metallic structures, Gallifreyan writing in certain places and a colour scheme of predominately black, white and hints of red (rather than violet). There are long corridors, lit alternately with harsh white lighting, and with red, as the Master has a certain inclination towards the dramatic. The corridors might go on forever, or intersect, or be spotted with doorways, both classic, doorknob operated ones, and space-y sliding ones. And behind the doors? Well. That would be telling. You'll have to look and see. Needless to say, the Master's mind and therefore his dreamworld is naturally a bit...hostile to the invading human, or at least probably a bit disturbing to them. His memories and inclinations thread through the rooms, the rooms occasionally even reflecting rooms of his past TARDISes.
And at the heart of the dream is the control room, brushed metal staircases leading up to a raised platform encircling a black and white room and the central column of the room, the time rotor, glows red against the otherwise white light. It is surrounded by a relatively thin, metallic console, that sweeps down into a thicker base. The console is covered in various buttons and levers and difficult-to-understand technology, though you can do your best if you like. About a third of it is probably there for more the look of it than anything.
Those who choose to enter will find that the interior is vast and labyrinthine, and difficult to navigate, especially as it shifts its corridors as the Master wants. You might feel someone watching you and, well, it could be your imagination but then again, the Master is in control here...
And underneath it all, the drums beat constantly, creeping into your consciousness with their four-part beat. A single, unavoidable imperfection in the Master's otherwise perfect fantasy.]
[ooc: Um, it's totally open, but if you didn't speak to me in the thread, it might help to know if you want your character disillusioned or not. I mean, the Master is evil, so. If you want to walk in from another dream scenario the Master's TARDIS has a functioning Chameleon Circuit so the outside'll look like some part of the scene, albeit one that is around the size of a Police Box. Additionally, the Master'd be willing to confuse you and make one of the rooms look like home to you. He loves messing with people.]
