Nov 13, 2004 11:40

I got an anonymous comment on my last post, saying, "[W]hat the hell happened to you? I never changed, why did you?" I don't know who this is and i don't care. They very clearly lost sight of who i am a long time ago ( Read more... )

You're amazing. I'm glad to know you and to be able to witness the changes I have seen in your life in the past couple of years. I'm praying for you and the changes still to come.

Thank you. The greatest proof of GOD is a changed life. I'm so thankful. I can't say it enough. Glad to have you along, Stefi. :)

How long have we known each other now? Three years?

You have changed from when I first met you online, but at the same time I knew the seeds of who you are becoming were already present then... I remember once you writing "That's why I could never call myself a Christian", and thinking God was setting you up for the day when you would.

The only thing I miss are some of your Jungian thoughts, but then it was Jung who said we are who we're becoming and not just what we've done. We're being shaped into our complete selves, unique variations on the one image of God, and if anyone's bothered because they mistook (or mistake) the appearance of the lump of clay for the final product, then it's their own lack of insight they have to blame.

I really have been encouraged by being able to read along... and I'm glad to finally know your name, Shawn.

I am still very much a Jungian thinker, even though i've been mostly preoccupied with right wing politics and conservative Christianity as of late. Thank you for the reminder. It's so much a comfort that salvation is a work in progress and the self is infinitely more than we could be aware of at any given moment in time.

It's great knowing you, Jeff. You are by far one of the most interesting people i've met on LiveJournal. I am so happy others can see the work of GOD in my life and have occasion to give him praise. I pray only for more, in my life and in the lives of everyone i know. :)

Hope to get to know you Jeff. Have enjoyed your posts thus far even if I haven't commented on many.
