Found this via fic recs and clicking on your tags, and I'll just be here daydreaming that they go back in and save him after. Yep yep. Hopefully without a need to put Arthur back together and such.

This fic is gorgeous. Insanely so. Um. They will never not check if Arthur has any backup plans again? Once was enough. What he's willing to lose in order to protect the ones he cares about... that kind of loyalty and dedication, I've always loved it but it's still sad when you see exactly how far it has to go sometimes.
