National Geographic came yesterday and it says 44 percent of Americans believe in creation instead of evolution, according to the literal words of the bible. Something like 37 percent believe that God initiated some kind of evolution and it followed the basic idea of the bible creation story, ie first the animals, then the people. And only about

I was just talking to my mom about this election. We're both really scared that Bush will manage to steal it again. We don't trust Republicans with our votes, either.

that it's going to be ugly. DH says Maryland isn't one of the states messing with the polling places, so I don't need to worry. But what about the rest of the country. It's insane.
