Wanna see what I've been doing?
For some time now I've wanted to make myself a hematite pendant, and tonight I finished. This is super long compared to what I usually make, aprox 28 inches long, but I wanted something I could wear with either high or low necks. To make up for how huge that one is, I made myself also a tiny amethyst choker.

New Art
So, I'm feeling pretty good about this one, even though yeah, I did have a little hair problem (turns out that you can see the white paper under the black where I cut it, which is fine for large black shapes, but not so great on hair. I took a walk
I took a walk, which involved a creepy conversation, and an abandoned garbage truck, but the best part was that out of nowhere a grasshopper jumped on me, landing right beneath my collar bone. silliness: my very old dolls
So, someone's post reminded me of how I used to make and play with dolls, and also little animals.
Most of these things have been lost. Sadly. Most of the "camp kittens" were given away--the only two I have were made later. I gave dozens to my friends' little brothers and sisters. My brother has one still--I saw it in his house when he still ( Read more... ) -
Goodbye Sherman
Sherman died tonight. He ate breakfast this morning, but wouldn't eat tonight. We took him to the emergency vet, only to have him die while they were trying to treat him.
We are obviously very worried about Juniper now.
Not much else I can say or think or do at the moment.
