OMG, I loved my old Chukka boots from the 60's .. but they were leather with crepe soles. But still.. I miss the style.

Well shoot, I got the patent leather right out of the 60's as well. :D
Chukkas are surprisingly a v.v. popular mens casual shoe.

With the number of newer (see: more traditional) techniques I employed they certainly have the potential to be most elegant---as with any pair a welcomed learning curve.
