but you have mad me sad... one of the really cool things that milwaukee has going for it is if you make under 18,000 a year you can get city wide healthcare (I don't know how as I make to much) but one of my old roomates had it...

400 blows are incredible! neutron_x July 12 2007, 19:04:55 UTC
well worth seeing live, it's sad that Ferdie won't be playing with them anymore.

commence to downloadin'.
They are brutal and beautiful.

That's awesome that MKE has that, they are starting something like that soon in SF if I remember.

i don't really have insurance myself, at least not the good kind through any job - i pay for it on my own. i get this super cheap stuff with a high deductable that only costs like 20 or 25 bucks a month. i never go to the doctor anyways, so it's just there in the event of something crazy expensive happening.

yeah, and that's about standard too. neutron_x July 12 2007, 19:26:44 UTC
I have "really good" insurance, which is in quotes because any private insurace sucks since it's a corporation, and corporations by nature are there to make money.

I'm lucky enough to be healthy as a horse too, but man, it's crazy to think that you can be just one incident away from your life being ruined.

it's ridiculous, so fucking stupid too. neutron_x July 12 2007, 19:49:00 UTC
health care in this country is just horrid.
Or at least horridly expensive.

Those guys that basically look at peoples cases and try to fuck people over for their money... man, talk about jobs that engender bad karma.

my health insurance sucks, and i pay for it myself. $90 a month, and i have to pay 40% of hospital bills. that is seriously dangerous there, but i'm taking my chances for the moment.

also 400 blows are so fucking good that is really sad. i'm so glad they brought him in to get treated though, jesus christ.

i need to see sicko soooooon.

you need to see Sicko. neutron_x July 12 2007, 19:24:56 UTC
I didn't post about it, because... well I haven't posted a movie review in forever, but was really great.

hilarious, sad, angering... all the basics.
It's very, very good.

Man, that health insurance is bad!
we need universal single payer health care.
