Wii VR Display
I saw this on Penny Arcade, so if you read the news there this won't be new, but a guy at CMU has designed some software to use a Wiimote for head-tracking in order to create a basic virtual reality display on his television. Ft. Whetherill/NEADC Tropical Fish Hunt
This past Sunday I drove down to Ft. Whetherill State Park in Rhode Island with offside7 and beholdsa for the New England Aquarium Dive Club's Tropical Fish Hunt.

NEADC's Annual Tropical Fish Hunt
Next Sunday (Sept. 30th) the New England Aquarium Dive Club is hosting their annual Tropical Fish Hunt and BBQ at Ft. Whetherhill in Rhode Island. For some reason a number of tropical fish get sucked up from the Carribean (probably as eggs) and end up in the warm summer waters off Rhode Island (70 degrees). Finished Open Water Diving Class
I did my 3rd and 4th Open Water confirmation dives today, thus completing my Scuba Schools International Open Water certification. Open Water certification allows me to dive on my own as long as I do so with a buddy.
I took my classes at Burlington Scuba and had a good time with it. ( About the Lessons ) -
