Very nice! I don't watch Smallville, but even for someone who doesn't you still told the story very clearly and effectively. And I liked the song you picked because it's more about realizations about past relationships and coming to peace with them, and the promise of a new relationships, which seems perfect in this scenario.

Wonderful video! Looks to me like you've got your groove back??? :D

Thank you hon! And yep, you pretty much got it right on. I'm wondering if being too clear on the story is a negative. Mysteriousness sometimes has it's perks. But the story was so crystal to me...

Not really, this is just something I had to do. Now I need a break.

Thanks so much for watching and giving me some love. :)

It wasn't a negative from my POV. As I said, I don't watch Smallville, so it kept me from being lost and confused while watching...

Ooh, very cool! Even though I don't watch Smallville, I really enjoyed this - very well put together! The song - the lyrics, especially - really fit well with what you showed (despite it's xmas relation lol) :)

P.S. I see you using Glee songs ;)

LOL, I know.. GUILTY!

Thanks so much for watching and commenting, hon. It is great that you understood it and enjoyed it as well, especially when you don't watch the show! It means a lot, though, that you checked it out. *hugs*

I almost couldn't believe it when I came over to LJ and saw this! Lovely to see a vid from you!

I haven't watched Smallville since season 7 and have not gotten into Glee - so it's a double tribute to this emotional and open-heartedly romantic vid that I got so completely caught up that I had to DL and watch it again. It's got such lovely movement and flow back and forth through time. I love how you got to the (goosebump) point at 1.28-1.30 (someone special) and the ending is just awesome. Oh! and Lex Luthor as a "man under cover" - perfect! Poor Lex!

I don't mind being spoiled cause I never "got" Lana either, and Clark and Lois spell Destiny. I just may have to pick this show up again. Thanks for this!

Heya blitzed! It's great to hear from you, and thank you for watching and commenting. I love that you downloaded it and watched it again, and commented on the movement. I forgot to mention that I hate CW watermarks but the season 9 clips have them. Nothing I can do about it, so I hope they weren't too distracting. I'm glad you enjoyed this!

Season 9 is really good, so do try to pick it up when you have free time. I am really enjoying it more than I have in a long time. Clark and Lois are awesome together and for once the showrunners are doing something right!

Feels like old times, replying to a Smallville vid of yours! And what a gorgeous one it is. I told you how much I love your theme and how beautifully you've constructed your vid around it. The song isn't so much about Christmas as it is about a past relationship and finally discovering the real one is right there in front of you, that spells pure romance and you know how to paint images into that setting like no one else!!! There are so many parallels and connections I am adoring...you are SO good at finding moments that relate and letting them speak volumes. I love the opening with Clark bandaging Lois and the looks between them. You know I go mad over Lana's hand slipping from Clark's at 1:49 flowing into Lois's hand touching Clark, the letting go of the past and his destined love finally coming in close. That to me sums up beautifully the whole heart of the video for me. The clips paralleled from 1:56 to 1:58 were destined to be mated in this vid, I still can't get over it each time I watch that sequence! (I can imagine your heart ( ... )

It does feel like old times, doesn't it! I am glad that you caught up with the series and were able to enjoy the video before it was posted. Thank you for beta'ing and for these lovely comments too.

I love how you put that and I think it works pretty well together too. I was always on the lookout for a different Lois clip that really mirror's Lana's but this one worked just as well. Also glad you liked the other comparison clips there as well!

These are the lovely nuances I have always adored about your videos, you know how to work them in so naturally with the eb and flow of the music, it always amazes me.Thank you. I just adore this comment ( ... )

Sorry, I realized last night that I forgot to list my betas up top and fixed it. Hope you are okay with that.
No worries. I am fine with it either way :)

It's a gorgeous gorgeous piece of editing, with Lev earmarks I've come to love all over it. I keep remembering things I didn't include in my previous reply..like how much I loved the Clark audio, you never fail to open vids with THE perfect and most effective dialogue to set your vid story spinning. I also adored the clip of Lois holding the nameplate,..another one of those touches you do like no one else. ♥
