Feels like old times, replying to a Smallville vid of yours! And what a gorgeous one it is. I told you how much I love your theme and how beautifully you've constructed your vid around it. The song isn't so much about Christmas as it is about a past relationship and finally discovering the real one is right there in front of you, that spells pure romance and you know how to paint images into that setting like no one else!!! There are so many parallels and connections I am adoring...you are SO good at finding moments that relate and letting them speak volumes. I love the opening with Clark bandaging Lois and the looks between them. You know I go mad over Lana's hand slipping from Clark's at 1:49 flowing into Lois's hand touching Clark, the letting go of the past and his destined love finally coming in close. That to me sums up beautifully the whole heart of the video for me. The clips paralleled from 1:56 to 1:58 were destined to be mated in this vid, I still can't get over it each time I watch that sequence! (I can imagine your heart jumping up and down when you saw the clips together on the timeline for the first time!) I also adore the assortment of looks/expressions sprinkled throughout too...like the lois smile at 1:29 and the goofy clark smile at 1:30 These are the lovely nuances I have always adored about your videos, you know how to work them in so naturally with the eb and flow of the music, it always amazes me. Your ending is another favorite part of the video for me too....I absolutely adore that scene in the episode and how you let it just linger there with the people milling around them as he holds her is simply beautiful and seals your story perfectly....this is it, the real thing and they are not letting go. Your coloring throughout is ideal too, the clana clips so muted and the clois imagery so vibrant, the colors spilling over with the excitement of discovering real love which matches the 'color' within the music. (Even the rainy scene at the end is..glowing) This video brings me the joy of your storytelling skills, and how effortlessly you sew your images into the music....everything just flows and flows. It's been awesome fun seeing 'little Clana' fading to make room for the destiny of Lois and Clark via your talented vidding hand....I'm so glad you made this!! ♥\o/♥

It does feel like old times, doesn't it! I am glad that you caught up with the series and were able to enjoy the video before it was posted. Thank you for beta'ing and for these lovely comments too.

I love how you put that and I think it works pretty well together too. I was always on the lookout for a different Lois clip that really mirror's Lana's but this one worked just as well. Also glad you liked the other comparison clips there as well!

These are the lovely nuances I have always adored about your videos, you know how to work them in so naturally with the eb and flow of the music, it always amazes me.

Thank you. I just adore this comment. ♥

Also glad that the coloring works, as I tried many, many colors throughout. Thanks so much for prewatching and beta'ing too! Sorry, I realized last night that I forgot to list my betas up top and fixed it. Hope you are okay with that.

No worries. I am fine with it either way :)

It's a gorgeous gorgeous piece of editing, with Lev earmarks I've come to love all over it. I keep remembering things I didn't include in my previous reply..like how much I loved the Clark audio, you never fail to open vids with THE perfect and most effective dialogue to set your vid story spinning. I also adored the clip of Lois holding the nameplate,..another one of those touches you do like no one else. ♥
