Stay classy, guys) I started working up a response, and the coward deleted his journal before I could post it. Just as well, because now I can put it here, where it can be seen. I use 'meme' in the proper meaning of the phrase - a thought, idea, or belief that is largely self-contained. And it was someone on FA who basically was saying "I'm not against homosexuals, hell, I'm bi-curious, but really, can you stop shoving your sexuality down my throat?" (his words, not mine) it got worse, but he took his journal down. The gist of it was "it's a private thing, so keep it there." And yeah, he needed to be slapped. he took his journal down before I could post this, so I decided to put it here.

I don't think we should be back in the closet...but, I do think things like pride parades, and the really out there flaming people on tv...set us back too.

I agree we are not equel yet, but...im not sure the "way the hell out there" types are what is going to get us to the goal of equality in the same way the black panthers and hard core rappers are not helping black culture at all.
