Can they just do that?

Not sure but I think I am better off away from here, she doesn't seem to have any idea about the rights of the tenants. They also own the house next door and have leased it out to some african refugees, the previous tenants took them to the tenancy tribunal and found out that our landlords have never in the 30years they have been leasing the 2 propertys returned the bond to their tenants at the end of the lease. We have been here since october 2001 you would think because of that they would of given us more notice but apparently not.
Ah well I have a day of Housing Trust, and real estate people to see, and wouldn't you know it we are supposed to get to 39c to day and similiar for the rest of the week just what I needed a heatwave now.
Better get some ice cream while i'm out ...Hmmmm comfort cold food
