その1 For all those who've been patiently waiting for me to finally go back home to visit, I'm happy to publically announce that I will be returning from the 24th of December to the 8th of January. Don't even try to ask me to go somewhere on Christmas Day because I'll be with my family, but I do plan to visit Boston at some point during my holiday ( Read more... )

Hooray Lee! Thank you for the well wishes, and perhaps by some miracle we can see each other while you're home. Glad all is well, and of course glad you'll be able to spend the holidays with your family. Let your mom know all of us GHS alumni say hi and wish her well. :) Maybe we'll see you!

I hope so, it's been quite a while since we've seen each other. I'll definitely say hi to mom from everyones. Do you happen to have any plans for the holidays? Going home to be with family, or will you be in another city or state (hopefully not country)?

Sorry I couldn't catch you yet but I'm going to be back in the CT area from the 4th, so if you're around I'd love to see you and catch up. I don't happen to have your number though, so maybe I can get it from someone or you can post an anonymous message here with your number in it (other people can't see anonymous messages until I say they can, so I'll just take the number and delete the comment). I'd hate to pass the time and not have been able to catch you.

Hey man, it'll definitely be good to see you again. Unless you happen to have a pair of titanium supersized bolt-cutters, it might be a bit difficult to cut 'em off. And in Japanese, "a bit difficult" more often than not means "impossible". But there is a solution to the problem though - you'll just have to save up enough money to come visit me out here and tool around in Japan for a while. It's a great country to do stuff and go sightseeing and such ( ... )

Definitely! Assuming fskornia's gonna be around, the three of us ought to get together for at least a day of fun. Not that him being around controls whether we can do anything of course.

Just spoke to fskornia today and he said he will definitely be around. Should be easy to get a hold of him too.

fskornia: nah, I don't ski or snowboard, since I'm pretty sure I would have a problem on the lifts
netsaebr: ah
netsaebr: ok
fskornia: and yes I'll be around, I don't have any plans besides working

I'll probably be in Jersey from the 23 until the 1st or second. I won't be free on the 24th or 25th, because of the Christmas/birthday stuff, nor will I be free on the 30th, because Mike and I will be celebrating our anniversary in NYC. Other than that, I don't have anything planned yet. Chances are my family will be doing somthing on the 31st, but nothing's planned yet, and if that's the only time we can get together, then I could make myself free.

Hmm...so it looks like 26-29, 1-2, or 31 (if push comes to shove). Otherwise I'll have to catch you in Pittsburgh, right? It would be best for me to catch you on my way down to visit neomagusx in VA, but I'll have to check with him when he plans on being where before I officially make a decision. I also have no idea of my plans on New Years', but chances are one or another group of my friends are gonna be planning some kind of party I'm going to want to be at. I will keep you posted and I'll definitely figure out some way that you get visited.

This just in from neomagusx. Well maybe not just, but you get the idea. Just waiting for a few more people to tell me where they'll be when before the giant jigsaw puzzle begins.

neomagusx: right. well it's pretty safe to say I'll be in VA from the 1st through 8th, likely the 30th through 8th
neomagusx: possibly 28th through 8th. basically that's the idea. if it helps your scheduling, mine's flexible

Still haven't really figured out what's happening when. The thing that makes this puzzle the hardest to figure out is trying to optimize driving/travel time as well. I don't really want to be going all over creation - it's best if I make one trip northeast to the Boston area, visiting people on the way, then make another trip south to VA, visiting people on the way too. Looking at it, I've got 16 days, but they're disappearing really fast.
