I will make my biennial trip to Washington DC in June next June. This is partly because I'm thinking of moving there after grad school if I can find a job.

Hey everyone, I'm a grad student who found a lecture on cognitive science fascinating.

I've decided to pursue a career in industrial espionage. Once I get started with that, I'll have to delete my LJ and kill everyone who's ever read it.

Two things about grad school so far:
1) There seems to be a drummer in the apartment building
2) I greatly reduced this month's credit card bill by returning almost all of my books I'd preordered to the bookstore becase I mean who wants to spend that much money on textbooks?

I tagged a Facebook album, complete with clever captions, and none of it saved. So sad.

I have an assistantship for the fall so I can pay for grad school and work for one of the best libraries in the country. But I'm mainly concerned about the being able to pay for school and rent part!

Yesterday I graduated from college, today I had a job interview and am packing, and tomorrow I am going to Israel for ten days. College was pretty great and all, but it is good to have a nice diploma that says I have a bachelor's degree and I know my parents were pretty thrilled with how many times my name showed up in the program (7).
