For the first time in a long time, I went out with my parents. It’s been months, I think, and if I hadn’t been so lethargic because of the doctor’s appointment maybe I would’ve been better. And maybe that’s an excuse for myself, sigh. Next time!! Gosh, today.

Oh gosh, books. So many books! ♥

I've been meaning to read Anansi Boys for quite some time, trying to read my way through all of Gaiman's books, since there's just something about his writing that's so interesting.

They make me happy looking at them Q__Q there's just something about piles of paper ♥

Oh, you should! I've read the first chapter, it's off to a promising start. My personal favorite is still American Gods though, there's just something intensely crazy about that universe which I love. And IKR, I like his narratives as well, they're so thought-filled and like you said - interesting.

/SCREAMS ANANSI BOYS.

Looking Glass Wars is also quite good, but I have a special place in my readerly heart for Neil Gaiman. The Bartimaeus trilogy is good too; I especially enjoyed the last book in it, but the massive amount of footnotes take a little getting used to.

OH...///
I do like Neil Gaiman quite a lot as well - I haven't read ALL of his works (have touched neither Sandman nor Smoke and Mirrors, though I intend to) but I think I've covered everything else...American Gods will forever be my personal favorite from him, for some really 'lolderp u' reasons ;w; What about you, what's your favorite book by him? 8Db

/I'll take note of those footnotes!

I have to admit I haven't read Sandman either (though I probably will this semester, since our library has all of the volumes), but of his full books, I'd say American Gods is also my favorite mostly because I love mythology, and the idea of the gods having to adapt and move and live amongst us was so interesting to me. Though he's got a short story I really love by him in Smoke and Mirrors, called Apples, Glass, and Snow (or some iteration of the three). Good Omens I read once a year, but it's a co-author, so it only half-counts.

Oh wow, that's amazing 8Da I love the American Gods universe (also because I am a sucker for Norse myth, among others ffff), and the kinda-sorta war between both sides was just so fun to read as well. Once I get myself down to the library, I'll borrow Smoke and Mirrors...is that some sort of Snow White adaptation o__O? Good Omens is really good though, and HILARIOUS besides.

Aaaah, American Gods is good to read portion by portion at a time though, you could always start like that. :3c /lolbias
I just googled the Hard-boiled Wonderland one, it seems so strange 6__9 but is that his style, to write things like this...
Oh, the light novels? What language are these in?

Once you have free time, maybe we could go together again!! 8D

Mitch Albom is amazing, I haven't read For One More Day to the end though haha

There's this book called Ice Land, I forgot who the author is, but it's about Norse mythology and I think you'd like it twin. The little I read of it (it's my friend's) is good.
