Dropped my laptop on Sunday before we headed home to Logan. Yeah... *headdesk* That was bad. Anyway, I thought it was fine for a while, until I noticed a problem that wasn't going away. It seems like everyone's laptops are breaking down lately. At least yours was easily fixable though. :( I tried getting the dust out with compressed air, but it still isn't working. I'll have to take it in somewhere to get fixed I guess.... after I get an estimate on how expensive that will be.

How old is the laptop? If it's more than maybe 2-3 years old, it's not likely to be worth it, especially if the fan has gone bad and completely needs to be replaced.

If the fan isn't bad and has only somehow lost its power connection or something, then that's easier to fix, but I still wouldn't take it in anywhere to have them do that-- I'd probably get someone who's semi-familiar with laptop disassembly to try to fix it for me.

I had a dream about you last night. Well, actually, I guess it was a dream about your LJ. You wrote something along the lines of, "Amy is pregnant, it's a girl, and we're naming her Kayla." Then you posted this weird YouTube video of Amy's face, zooming in on things like her eyes, her nose, her mouth, etc. Weird. Weird. Weird.

Anywho. I guess this is what kind of dreams you get when you only sleep in 3-hour increments. @_@
