Okay, I know I am seriously going to regret this but....

I don't mind people sharing their experience about Asylum GOOD OR BAD.   What was wrong with it- what was right with it- Those experiences are fine but one thing that keeps going around which is really annoying me is that the staff of Asylum disrespected the guests.

I was there and yeah you can tell it was good or bad, it happened and it's over.

I don't know where that comes from, but I do think, that probably because some people posted how attandents were unrespectful to the boys. Hence the common belief that the boys had pain in the con was born.

Especially I read a post saying that Jared mentioned on his coffee lounge maybe that somebody told him he gained weight and shit like that, and he was a bit uncomfortable with that.

IDK seriously, Asylum reaction and on time seems a bit of a chaos for me in terms of fandom. So I just stay at my happy place and share only the pics.

It wasn't really anyone saying he gained weight, but that he'd changed since season 1. More like, he got more muscles. I didn't get the impression that Jared took it the wrong way because he joked and said all the weight was in his head. :) (And the fan did say she liked how he looked now.)

And Daea; I don't know where it's coming from either. The only thing I've heard is that Jensen seemed annoyed at the closing ceremony which I kind of got the sense of too. But I just figured it was because he'd rushed through autos and was tired, basically.

Oh okay, cool. I think we don't have anything confirmed but people talk and they end up telling stories which is not even true...

Good example when Jensen said he got enough of Sam we can have it, when somebody asked what he wants to keep from the set and somebody shouted Sam.

The fandom story in a couple of hours was that Jensen wants to take Sam home and have crazy bunny sex with him.

IMO Asylum did have its ups and downs but it rocked nonetheless and I loved it
Also, I had no idea you were Daea- I would like to thank you for the work you put in over the weekend!
Also, some stuff was really taken out of context over that weekend and I cannot stress how twisted some reports were
Doug himself said that both Jared and Jensen said they had a great time and enjoyed the weekend

You, my dear, were a breath of fresh air. I dont think any staff dissed anyone... I think the boys had fun... I didn't get Jensen was annoyed, i just thought he looked rushed bless him.

Erm, I dont know what else to say, except i knew stuff from people i respected (H and some flippy boingy girl) and as far as i was concerned everything was cool...

I've had a few people ask me if it was true that Jensen was "upset" at the convention. It's complete and utter lies, I know for a fact that he was fine, he was very tired, but that was more due to the fact that he and the others were drinking in their hotel until the early hours. In fact he said to Wayne and Paul that he had a really good time and would consider coming back again. So where all this nonsense is coming from I have no idea, but it's absolutely not true.

You see- I knew I probably shouldn't have mentioned anything but there was this going around and I just wanted to know was that the vast majority opinion because- we both know from the experience of working the con that it wasn't true. Jensen made the choice to carry on signing and if he really didn't want to do it- I dont think he would have. Plus, lol, the drinking that they were going to do was sort of unavoidable but they still did what was contracted. I think so many people were expecting the guests to have some one to one attention and when it didn't happen they got bitter or the stress from some of the queues etc etc. Jensen personally expressed to myself and Matt that he had a great time- so I really was confused to hear people saying that the guests were 'unhappy'. I know that this is a no win situation because people will have their opinions- I just wanted to know where this was starting because I am fully aware of the other wank drama and that can be avoided, but I suppose this just hit be a little sideways because I KNEW

I think other peoples' perceptions can really affect an opinion. We may witness someone talking to Jensen and think HOLY SHIT- what on Earth possessed her to say that- whilst her friends or other people might accept it as the norm. It's different up bringings, cultures etc etc- so everything has to be taken with a pinch of salt. I mean, I didn't really believe what I was reading on the net, but one particular journal reallllly annoyed me when she/he (not sure who they are!) said I JUST KNEW THEY WERE UNHAPPY and she/he had so many people believing her and I just wanted to know why her opinion was that- because SHE didn't have a good time at the convention she felt that the guests didn't?

I know we don't mean J2 shippers or Jensen lovers or haters or anything like that- that's a whole other discussion - I was just confused to think, why people really thought the guests were unhappy.

ANYWAY- I'm glad you had fun and you looked GORGEOUS on Saturday! Amazing! <3
