New job
So, I have another new job!
Together with my job at university setting up a language tandem, I will be working as a program coordinator for a chinese exchange program from next month on. It is my absolute dream job and I am so happy I got it!

Wow, I haven't written a proper update forever. Right now I am pretty happy with my life. Living with my boyfriend is great, my job situation is good and will probably get better soon and it is only five weeks to my holiday!!! Maybe that's why I don't write much - nothing to really complain about ( Read more... ) -
I have a new job!
I finally found a new job, half a position in a german university (halbe Stelle, not exactly the same as part time), intercultural mentoring of foreign students.
I AM SO FREAKING HAPPY!!!!!!
It's not the best-paid job ever, but the job itself, the possibilities it opens up in the future... wonderful!!! I have been searching for something like this ( Read more... ) -
Nuclear power
So, we have officially made the switch to green energy and away from nuclear power. After hearing about Japan, this was way overdue! -
christmas
I won't get any time off from my job this year for Christmas. When I first heard about it, I was totally frustrated but it pretty much smoothed itself out.

I finished reading Finger Licking Fifteen by Janet Evanovich and I also finished The Carrie Diaries. Both books were way better than I expected!! I laughed myself nearly into hysterics with the Stephanie Plum novel (she's the heroine of the Janet Evanovich books) , such a well-written and funny book, I didn't expect that ( Read more... ) -
